Bulles de nature, the free ecological comics festival at Jardin de Valérien, Nanterre

Reading in nature- what a relaxing activity! Bulles de nature invites you to discover a wide range of comics on the theme of the environment and ecology at the third edition of the ecological comics festival, on June 2, 2024, at the Jardin de Valérien.

Since last year, this garden, located in Nanterre, has been offering a welcoming green space in the heart of the city, thanks to numerous fun and educational activities all year round, for young and old alike. This free literary festival is part of this continuity, with spaces perfect for discussing ecology and resource protection through reading, in partnership with the specialist store"La BD s'expose".

The program includes activities and workshops open to all, with registration required, plus ameeting and signing session the day before with Nora Moretti, designer of Princesse Sara, at Médiathèque de la Poterie, from 3pm to 6pm.

• Meetings with 7 children's comics authors: Arnaud Boutle, Pierre Uong, Nora Moretti, Sandrine Goalec, Mo Pi, Pauline Roland and Damien Roudeau.
• Discover new and used comics in a temporary bookshop
• Nature activities in the Jardin de Valèrien
• Presentation of the children's comics competition prize and the Bulles de Nature Coup de Coeur prize

These authors will be presenting their works in small groups, aimed in particular at children, to raise their awareness of environmental protection from an early age, in an appropriate setting. A number of second-hand comics will also be on display, to delight the bargain hunters who have come to add to their collections or simply to stroll through the garden and admire its biodiversity!
