The Incredible Gardens of Seine et Marne

In 2023, Seine-et-Marne will honor its parks and gardens during the "Jardins Incroyables" event. From April 1 to October 15, this cultural program organized in partnership with Seine-et-Marne Attractivité and the CAUE 77, will allow visitors to discover and explore the 300 gardens of the department, including 7 labeled remarkable by the Ministry of Culture.

Among these remarkable gardens are the Moulin Jaune garden in Crécy-la-Chapelle, the garden of the Bourdelle departmental museum in Égreville, the national domain of Fontainebleau, the park of the Vaux-le-Vicomte castle in Maincy, the rose garden in Provins, the garden of the point du jour in Verdelot and the park of the Champs-sur-Marne castle.

During this period, many events are organized in these gardens to share an unforgettable experience with family, friends or colleagues. On the program, exhibitions, conferences, shows, workshops and many other activities to enhance the walks and discoveries.

In April, visitors will be able to attend the launch of Incroyables jardins during the 7th edition of the spring Art & Garden Plant Days at the Château de Blandy, or discover plant embroidery at the Bourdelle museum-garden in Égreville. In May, don't miss the conference at the Roseraie de Provins and the Grandeur nature exhibition at the Château de Fontainebleau. From June to September, the Emmenez-moifestival is held at the castle of Blandy and offers animations in Seine-et-Marne until July 9. The château Rosa Bonheur hosts the exhibition "Les Lalanne chez Rosa Bonheur" from June to September. Finally, in October, the Bourdelle museum-garden in Égreville will close this season rich in emotions and discoveries with the event "Incredible gardens!" on October 14 and 15.

• Inauguration of the medieval garden at the Château de Blandy (April 1st and 2nd)
• Days of the plants and art of the garden in the Castle of Blandy (April 1st and 2nd)
• Demonstration and workshops on plant embroidery at the Bourdelle museum-garden in Égreville (April 1 and 2)
• Launch of the moss garden project and Kokedama workshops at the Moulin Jaune in Crécy la Chapelle (April 22)
• Exhibition "Mallarmé invites... Frédéric Couraillon, dans le jardin, les pollens" at the Musée départemental Stéphane Mallarmé in Vulaines-sur-Seine (March 11 to May 14)
