This year, the Parc de la Ferme du Manet is hosting the 21st edition of La Prairiale, a festival dedicated to plants, gardens and crafts. This annual celebration, organized jointly by the Lions Club de Montigny les 3 villages and the town of Montigny-le-Bretonneux, aims to support local humanitarian actions, in particular the fight against blindness.
The event features some forty exhibitors specializing in garden products, such as herbs and vegetables, flowering plants and shrubs, and garden and plant decorations. At the same time, numerous exhibitors offer local products such as honey, cookies, specialities from Auvergne, Provence and Corsica, caramels, delicatessen, beer, chocolate, regional wines and much more.
La Prairiale is also an opportunity to discover the work of 14 exceptional craftsmen and women, representing a variety of trades such as leatherwork, glasswork, ceramics, jewelry, clothing, decorative objects and featherwork. This selection of artisans makes for an enriching and unique experience for those who venture in.
For those with a sweet tooth, take-away food is available on site to make the most of this open-air day. By attending this event, you can discover new plants and shrubs for your garden, be seduced by the original creations of artisans and feast on local produce.
