To celebrate World Perfume Day, Nez, a cultural movement, is organizing the first-ever Paris Perfume Week, part festival, part trade show, to showcase this exceptional product used by the entire population. It's a chance to share know-how, discover the behind-the-scenes world of perfumers and 50 international niche brands, enjoy 16 workshops or learn more about the trade at conferences, book signings and an exhibition, from March 21 to 24, 2024, in the heart of the Bastille Design Center!
Everyone has a story to tell about perfume, which brings back memories, people or places, and often awakens emotions. Challenge your nose during this perfume version of Fashion Week, aimed at the general public, atpaid workshops to discover the history of raw materials, where you can smell surprising ingredients or legendary fragrances, explore the commonalities between the history of wine and that of perfume, or sharpen your memory!
34 "Smell Talks " will give the floor to perfumers, scientists, institutions and artists, including Mathilde Laurent (Cartier) and Francis Kurkdjian (Dior), for a variety of conferences on themes such as the influence of Middle Eastern perfumery, olfactory education, the link between scent and cinema and many others. There will also be an exhibition on the"Parfum d'Empire" house, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, offering a multi-sensory tour of its most emblematic creations.
