How about trying out rock climbing? Opened on June 9, 2021, this climbing gym named Climbing District opens its doors at 69 rue Rostropovitch in the 17th arrondissement of Paris and the Batignolles district.
What can you find inside Climbing District? This new 800m2 Parisian space dedicated to the practice of climbing is divided into 3 rooms, one for each level of difficulty. In the first bouldering room, reserved for warming up and for children or beginners, the walls are 3 meters high. Another area is made up of"slab/technical" type profiles, for more experienced climbers, with a bonus bar to quench your thirst and relax. Finally, the third and last room will satisfy the most experienced climbers, for high level and "big overhangs".
Climbing District even offers a new innovation: a connected wall! A real climbing wall that offers multiple hanging positions, on which interactive games are projected. The climbers who confront themselves with it will have to hit the right holds at the right time.
At the same time, the new climbing space of the 17th offers courses - group or individual - for all ages and different levels. On the spot, we find all the attributes of a real living space, starting with a bar, co-working spaces offering wifi, but also meeting rooms, showers and lockers.
Want to try out the new climbing gym? Good news: by the end of the year, the company has announced that it will open two other climbing rooms in Paris. For the moment, we don't know where they are... We'll tell you as soon as we know, we promise!
