How about giving climbing a try? Opening on June 9, 2021, this climbing gym called Climbing District opens its doors at 69 rue Rostropovitch in the 17th arrondissement of Paris and the Batignolles district.
What's inside Climbing District? This new 800m2 climbing center in Paris is divided into 3 rooms, one for each level of difficulty. In the first bouldering room, reserved for warm-up and children or beginners, the walls are 3 meters high. Another area features"slab/technical" profiles for more advanced climbers, with a bonus bar to quench your thirst and relax. Finally, the third and last room will satisfy the most seasoned climbers, for high-level and "big overhangs".
What's more, Climbing District even offers a brand-new innovation: a connected wall! A real climbing wall offering multiple hanging positions, on which interactive games are projected. For example, climbers will have to hit the right holds at the right time.
At the same time, the new climbing center in the 17th arrondissement offers courses (group or individual) for all ages and levels. All the attributes of a fully-fledged living space can be found on site, starting with a bar, wi-fi co-working spaces, meeting rooms, showers and changing rooms.
Fancy trying out the new climbing gym? Good news: by the end of the year, the company has announced the opening of two other climbing gyms in Paris. For the moment, we have no way of knowing where they are... We'll let you know as soon as we find out, we promise!
