Built in the 1930s, the Piscine Blomet in Paris's 15th arrondissement is one of the few Olympic-sized pools in the city, and is a covered pool with a superb bains-douches.

The Blomet swimming pool, located in the 15ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, is a historic and architectural gem that has been seducing swimming enthusiasts for almost a century. Inaugurated in the 1930s, it is distinguished by its concrete architecture and glass roofs, characteristic of buildings of the period. Originally, the pool's water came from a 587-metre-deep artesian well, providing a natural temperature of 28°C.

This ingenious system was used until the facility's first major renovation in 1961, when the concrete vault was replaced by glazed metal skylights, bringing natural light into the pool. It has a unique look, as the changing rooms, also known as shower baths or cabins, are spread over three levels, forming a balcony with a plunging view over the pool reminiscent of the layout of transatlantic liners.

Since the renovation, which was completed in 2020, a movable wall has been installed in the pool, enabling the space to be divided into two distinct sections as required. The Blomet pool's main asset is its50-meter Olympic-size pool , a rarity appreciated by Parisian swimmers. The Neptune Club de France, the facility's resident club, offers swimming lessons for all levels, as well as aquagym sessions.

A 70 m² weight room is also available for users wishing to complete their workout. Occasional events, such as fitness and yoga courses and sessions, are regularly organized, enriching the pool's range of sporting activities, with slots extending from 7 a.m. to 10.30 p.m.
