To celebrate the release of the first two volumes of Akane-Banashi manga, Shonen Jump's new nugget focusing on the art of rakugo, publisher Ki-Oon is organizing an exceptional evening on October 10, 2023 at Olympia, starting at 7pm. This event invites you to find out more about this humorous Japanese narrative art. The event is free of charge, and reservations are open from September 26 on the Olympia website.
The evening will be punctuated by stage challenges, with guests divided into two teams. This will be an opportunity for the audience to vote for the performance they think is best, and to top it all off, the chance to win a trip to Japan if the team they support wins! The second half of the evening will be marked by the stage performance of Cyril Coppini and Stéphane Ferrandez, who will plunge us into the very essence of rakugo. But the exploration doesn't stop there, as numerous activities are planned throughout the event, including an exhibition dedicated to manga, photocalls, interactive quizzes and much more, all orchestrated by host Marie Palot.
For those unable to attend, the Ki-oon team has arranged a live broadcast of the event on Twitch, enabling fans to participate virtually and win live prizes.
