From November 4 onwards, the Big Bad Wolf (and his big teeth), the innocent Red Riding Hood and his kind grandmother can be seen at the Théâtre de la Huchette, in Paris, in a family show presented every Saturday at 4pm and every Monday at 7pm until December 4, 2023.
In a little house lost deep in the forest, a very, very busy mother sends her little daughter - dressed in a big red cape - to take a cake to her grandmother, who lives on the other side of the forest. The rest you'll know from Charles Perrault's tale: on the way, Little Red Riding Hood meets the big bad wolf, and ventures off alone into the big forest, where she's not really safe after all.

For this production, performers and directors Nina Ballester and Nina Cruveiller drew inspiration from Joël Pommerat's Little Red Riding Hood, which returns to the essentials and tells this famous tale from another angle, that of the heroine's solitude, confinement and desire to escape. The actresses tell the story, not embody it: for this show, minimalism is the order of the day, with no sets, costumes or props to allow the audience to travel through their own imaginations, following the story of Little Red Riding Hood.
It's an intriguing, out-of-the-ordinary show, so come and see it with your family from November 4, 2023 at the Théâtre de la Huchette!
