Gabriel Donzelli 's first one man show is introduced with this simple sentence: "Hello, my name is Gabriel, I'm going to tell you about my life, which has had its ups and downs, but don't worry, it's almost over."The 21-year-old takes to the stage at the Théâtre du Marais with his show C'est bientot fini, primarily out of "a need to tell (his) personal and emotional story" and, above all, to be able to recount, to trace the contours of his biggest demon, the illness he experienced as a child.

This illness, a real family misfortune, was also the subject of another artistic narrative, led by his own parents, Valérie Donzelli and Jérémie Elkaim on the silver screen, with the film La Guerre est Déclarée. In the eyes of the author of his own one-man show, talking about illness at the dawn of his twenties is a way of rebuilding and calming himself, but also of finally giving free rein to his desire to tell stories and be listened to. In C'est bientot fini at the Théâtre du Marais , Gabriel Donzelli uses humor to mediate his needs and desires, but also to protect himself from the gaze of those who receive him .

C'est bientôt fini, on stage at the Théâtre du Marais until January 2, 2025.
