Guignol en vrai! the musical comedy to see over the Christmas vacations

Fancy seeing a show with the whole family over the Christmas vacations? The musical Guignol en vrai takes you back into the world of a character who has left a lasting impression on many children. For the first time, Guignol is brought to life on stage in the form of a musical! The show runs at the Palais des Congrès from December 26 to 28, 2024.

Guignol en vrai tells the story of Monsieur Henry, the director of a puppet theater that's drowning in debt. To save their puppeteer, Guignol, Madelon and Gnafron make a bold decision: become human. Their mission? Find "La Belle Étoile", an enchanted diamond that can grant any wish.

In this extraordinary adventure, they meet Émilie, a young human who is also searching for "La Belle Étoile" to save her ailing father. From the moment they meet, Guignol falls under her spell. Together, they embark on an unforgettable journey, where the quest for the diamond leads to self-discovery. Guignol en vrai, to be discovered just after Christmas, is suitable for young and old alike.

The musical, directed by Ned Grujic (The Jungle Book), features six actors-singers-dancers in amagical, funny and touching show. Les Guignols en vrai is the brainchild of Sorel, who is also responsible for the musical score, featuring live pop songs. A show for all ages awaits you at the Palais des Congrès during the festive season.
