They are four children and a father and they haven't seen each other for 12 years. It's a far too long absence of their mother and an obsession for karaoke. It's a journey between life and death, between a real world and a fantasy world. It's a play that ultimately tells the whole story of life: human relationships, especially family relationships, love, hate and hopes.
Until Sunday, February 11, Cirque Electrique presents the new creation of the Théâtre de la Suspension: Four Corners of a Square with its Center Lost. On the circular stage of the big top at the Porte des Lilas, everything can change from one moment to the next and we are taken for a ride in an extravagant story where we laugh and are moved, where we are disgusted and perplexed... In short, the Théâtre de la Suspension knows how to play with our emotions and we don't come out of it quite rested!
With live music, light effects plunging us in the dark to then blind us and giant screens, it is the whole space of the big top which is occupied with a pushed scenography and a very physical, almost violent staging.
