This show, imagined by the JM productions company, was co-written by Jennifer Moret and Carlos de Lafuente. It features a mysterious series of crimes targeting periwinkles: two investigators - Emmy Perle and Joe Speed - are tasked with solving this enigma as quickly as possible... They will learn that these crimes are destined to devastate the entire country.
Those familiar with the British TV series Chapeau melon et bottes de cuir will immediately understand the reference: Emma Peel and John Steed become Emmy Perle and Joe Speed, a pair of investigators nicknamed The Avengers. A true homage to the famous British detective series (which went by the name of The Avengers), the play's two creators came up with an original plot that could quite easily have been the subject of an episode of the series.
With Thomas Bousquet, Hervé Terrisse, Julie Boris or Aline Parmenon, Françoua Garrigues, Mathieu Montbroussous and Jennifer Moret at Théâtre de la Divine Comédie.
