Cyrano de Bergerac: Edmond Rostand's play with Édouard Baer at Théâtre Antoine

If you're familiar with Cyrano Bergerac 's nose tirade, it's because Edmond Rostand's play has inspired hundreds of playwrights and filmmakers. This year, Cyrano de Bergerac arrives at the Théâtre Antoine in a new version, directed by Molières 2024 award-winning director Olivier Solivéres, with Édouard Baer in the role of Cyrano.

Olivier Solivéres, known for his children's plays, but above all for his latest success in 2024 with Le Cercle des Poètes disparus, which is still running at the Théâtre Libre, will offer 50 exceptional performances ofEdmond Rostand 's play. Édouard Baer is renowned for his unique style combining humor, poetry and improvisation. He has appeared in plays such as La folle et véritable vie de Luigi Prizzoti and Les élucubrations d'un homme soudain frappé par la grâce, where his talent for monologue and audience interaction is particularly appreciated. He is also known for revisiting classic works with a modern, quirky twist, as he is sure to do in Cyrano de Bergerac at the Théâtre Antoine.
