The Centre Pompidou honors the work of Paul Klee in a groundbreaking retrospective devoted to the Romantic irony characteristic of his oeuvre. This exhibition, on view from April 6 to August 1, 2016, sheds light on Paul Klee's contribution to the twentieth-century art scene, and introduces us to Romantic irony, an artistic freedom that, according to F. The Paul Klee exhibition at the Centre Pompidou is divided into seven thematic sections:
To answer these 7 questions, the Centre Pompidou was able to benefit from exceptional loans from major international collections and the Zentrum Paul Klee. The result is 250 diverse works, including paintings, preparatory drawings, sculptures and, above all, the mythical Angelus Novus, never before exhibited in France!
