Urban Week Paris La Défense 2022, the program

Urban Week returns to Paris La Défense from Wednesday September 14 to Sunday September 18, 2022. A free art festival which, as its name suggests, is dedicated to urban culture . The Parvis de Paris La Défense is the venue for a five-day alternative festival featuring street culture.

This year,Urban Week will once again feature live graffiti, thanks to the presence of twelve street-artists, as well as concerts and dj sets, urban and board sports, a creators' market to take home beautiful works to hang at home, or a playground and food trucks to fill your belly... all spread over a beautiful 6,500m² space to discover on the forecourt of Paris La Défense!

On the menu for Urban Week 2022:

• An art trail in partnership with Quai 36. This year, twelve French and international artists, including Pichiavo, Pref, Add Fuel, Zepha, Mina Hamada x Zosen. These artists will take over different areas of the festival to unveil their work, featuring sculpture, aerial installation and monumental frescoes. You're in for a real treat!
  
  
• A rich and varied musical program featuring DJ sets (Warm Up by the Wave collective), as well as live artists, including a young talent line-up. Get ready to discover Carmeline, winner of the Prix Pernod Ricard Live Music, and Nassim, a major artist on the current French R&B scene. Also on the program? BR la B, Pablo and LaRyde from the Buzz Booster association on the main stage.
  
  
• Dancing with a Family and Friend's danse animation led by Jimmy Yudat, but also a Waacking class and demo with Mariana Benege and an All Style battle by Valentine Nagata Ramos!
  
  
• A playground where young and old alike can enjoy activities, challenges and demonstrations of soccer, basketball, Double Dutch and even field hockey!
  
  
• A sliding zone with demonstrations, contests and supervised sessions on scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, BMX and longboards.
  
  
• This year's Designers' Market brings together 20 designers from a wide variety of fields: fashion (ready-to-wear, upcycling) and accessories. You'll also find a duo of tattoo artists for 4-handed flash tattoos, a bookshop, decorative objects and games...
  
  
• Food Trucks to fill your belly with dishes that invite you to travel.
  
  
• A surprise this year,Urban Week welcomes the team of coaches and performers from the first Art Du Déplacement school opened by the Yamakasi. An opportunity to discover this urban sport, which is still little-known in France.

As you can see, this event is an opportunity to make the most of the last few fine days. And since admission to the event is free, you'd be wrong to miss out! A good plan not to be missed.
