For the 13th year, the town of Courbevoie and the Atmosphères 21 association present their fun, civic and heterogeneous event: the Atmosphères Festival. Broadly participatory, it uses all forms of creative expression, especially cinema, to decipher today's world, map societal issues and open up to avant-garde solutions. Exhibitions, screenings, meetings, debates and conferences enable everyone to leave with a wealth of ideas to pursue in everyday life.
This 14th edition of the free festival takes place from October 9 to 13, 2024, at the Centre événementiel in Courbevoie. Some events will also be held at the Espace Carpeaux and the Abel Gance cinema. The Atmosphère Festival is sponsored by a number of well-known figures. Once again this year, producer and director Sébastien Folin is on hand. He is joined by cosmologist Pauline Zarrouk, and humorist and comedian Guillaume Meurice.
This event, which combines a film festival and a science festival, has been awarded the "Fête de la science" label, and is part of this nationwide event, which opens the doors of universities, research centers, medical institutes, media libraries and museums. The Fête de la Science invites young and old alike to take an interest in science and the research currently being carried out by French scientists.
