One hundred years... That's something to celebrate! So, on Saturday, November 23, 2024, the Carnavalet Museum of the City of Paris is inviting families of all ages to a festive day to celebrate the centenary of the Declaration of Children's Rights.
As a reminder, the Declaration of the Rights of the Child was born in 1924, when the League of Nations laid the foundations for children's rights with theadoption of the Declaration of Geneva. So, to celebrate this great step forward in child protection, the Carnavalet Museum has joined forces with the Paris Solidarity Department to offer a whole host of free activities for children.
What's on the program? Discover a playful itinerary led by volunteers from the "Children's Rights" Mission, as well as shows for toddlers, a participative fresco and a free evening, with dance and music, and flash visits to discover the museum's permanent collections.
