For more than 30 years, theAssociation Française d'Astronomie (AFA) has been organizing the Nuits des Etoiles, bringing together 250 astronomy clubs, tourist offices and even vacation centers to organize night-time sky-watching events. Once again this year, the AFA invites us to Parc Montsouris in Paris on August 1, 2025, to admire the stars from 9pm.
Paris under the stars 2025: observe the sky and the stars in 22 Paris parks this summer
Paris under the stars returns from June 28 to September 13, 2025. In partnership with the Association Française d'Astronomie, the Mairie de Paris organizes sky-watching evenings in various Paris parks and gardens. [Read more]
This is a great opportunity for curious people of all ages to discover astronomy for free, while hoping for good weather and clear skies. The AFA is also organizing a marathon of 22 free observation evenings open to all in the capital's parks, under the name Paris sous les Etoiles, with sky-spotting workshops. If you miss Starry Night, don't worry, Parc Montsouris will still be able to welcome you this summer with its telescopes open to all!
It's the perfect place for the whole family to marvel, in the heart of one of the capital's most beautiful parks, and to learn all about the planets and stars visible from the Paris skies - ideal for admiring the Perseids in August!
