This Thursday August 4, 2022, the only theme park within Paris, the Jardin d’Acclimatation provides an original outing. As a matter of fact, the Parisian park exceptionally welcomes a Japanese brass band.
The famous brass bran from the Nishihara school – present every 4 years in Europe for the international brass band contest in the Netherlands – stops by Paris for our greatest joy. For an afternoon, enjoy the brass band coming from south Japan.
On the menu, 63 musicians, boys and girls between 15 and 18 years old, parading and performing complex stunts. They will be accompanied by a conductor and a dozen dancers forming the brass band of the Nishihara school from Okinawa. Fun fact, their formation has been rewarded in several international contests.
Meet this Thursday at 3 p.m. The parade will leave from the Horloge Florale, go by the dry fountain and the Mahatma Gandhi entrance to reach the Miroir Vert set across the Fondation Louis Vuitton.
In this big place and on the pitch, the exceptional “dance of flags” will take place with music and choreography. After stopping by Vienna, Brussels and London, they will perform in Paris, at the Jardin d’Acclimatation, and it would be so wrong not to admire them!
Although the event is free of charge and open to all, do not forget to get in the Jardin d’Acclimatation, you must pay an admission fee, €7 per person, unless you get the offer including rides.
