In Spring 2024, the capital will blossom with a new cultural garden, free and open to all, soberly named La Parcelle. This new green Eden, initiated by its neighbor 19M, takes root between the neighborhoods ofAubervilliers and Paris, between urbanity and nature.
The plant spot, covering no less than 4220 m2, will evolve with the seasons, and will feature gardening skills in particular, in collaboration with the Vergers Urbains association. For youngsters and their families, they will be offering workshops in horticulture, floral art and theart of vegetable gardening. There's also a greenhouse, a flower farm, an educational vegetable garden and even a children's playground.
But there's more to La Parcelle than greenery! It's also a cultural bastion punctuated by a varied program. Under the aegis of a bouquet of local cultural players - the Centquatre-Paris, la Corvée, Poush and La Station-Gare des Mines - the chlorophyll-colored setting becomes home to visual art installations, sound objects and performances, concerts, creative workshops and other weekend events. A veritable field of exploration with an educational vocation, where the most diverse forms of artistic expression mingle.
la Parcelle promises to become a haven for locals, local workers and walkers passing through the Galerie du 19M. So don't hesitate to come and recharge your batteries and discover the plant life at the heart of this new green jewel at Porte d'Aubervilliers!
