Forget the dreariness of December, Galerie du 19M invites you to celebrate the winter solstice with a creative, vitamin-packed program! Offbeat performances, workshops for the whole family and gourmet interludes are on the menu to brighten up your weekend on December 14 and 15, 2024. Between art, fashion, music and surprises, winter becomes a party in the arty space of the Manufacture de Mode Chanel!

Notice to lovers of art, pretty things (and things to Instagram): the Galerie du 19M, the arty space of the Manufacture de Mode Chanel nestled in the 19ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, opens its doors to you for a bespoke weekend on December 14 and 15, 2024. It's the winter solstice that invites itself to the party, and this year we're celebrating light in the dark with a program as elegant as it is quirky.

Futuristic nail art and celestial musical vibes

  • Le Pavillon de Beauté by Southway Studio
  • Contemporary harp concert by Ange Halliwell
    • Saturday, 6-6:45pm
      Set the mood for the evening with a contemporary harp concert byAnge Halliwell. Her melodies, blending hypnotic arpeggios with hyper-pop touches, promise a suspended moment between light and melancholy.

DIY workshops for unique creations

Here, creativity is king. You touch it, you make it, you leave with a unique piece.

  • Ikebana with THYRSE
    • Saturday, 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm
      Discover the Japanese floral art and compose a bouquet as zen as it is harmonious, with plants from the local production of La Parcelle and ancestral techniques.

  • Tableaux tissés with Wendy Owusu
    • Saturday and Sunday, 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm
      Weave a unique pattern inspired by the flowers of the Parcelle and the work of artist From Abena To Gloria: Kumasi Season, using textile scraps and waste from the Maisons du 19M. An arty and responsible way to create a painting that will look great in your home.

  • The art of tsutsumi with Juliette Leclercq
    • Sunday, 2.30pm-5.30pm
      Become a master of Japanese gift wrapping! Transform your gifts into works of art: embroidery, pearls and precious papers enhance truffles of various flavors, previously prepared by the artist.

  • Embroidery and tarot with Emma Tholot
    • Saturday and Sunday, 2 - 4 pm & 4:30 - 6:30 pm
      Embroidered with your own hands, these tarot-inspired talismans will be your good-luck charms for the coming year. An immersion between craftsmanship and esotericism, in tribute to the 100th anniversary of Maison Lesage.
