The Nuit Blanche 2015 is scheduled for this Saturday, October 3, 2015, from 7pm, in the north of the capital. As soon as the sun sets, Parisians are invited to rediscover a part of the city and the greater Paris, through the presentation of places unknown to Parisians: in the North-West, we discover a new capital, between the Parc Monceau and the Petite Ceinture!
On the program of the Nuit Blanche on the North-Western route:
Nissim de Camondo Museum, 63 rue de Monceau, 75008 Paris
Massimo Furlan, After the end, the congress, 2015
Massimo Furlan invites himself into the square courtyard of the Nissim de Camondo Museum and installs an old-fashioned merry-go-round, evoking celebration and childhood. All night long, 12 thinkers dressed in checkered suits and masks with skulls climb on and off the carousel, stating "truths" about time, death, catastrophes, disappearance...
Parc Monceau, 35 boulevard Courcelles, 75008 Paris
Erik Samakh, Night of the Bees, 2015
Erik Samakh invests the Parc Monceau and reveals the world of the invisible, the worlds of species affected by global warming: sounds of insects, birds and amphibians - revealed and amplified in the Parc Monceau - make us hear the disturbances that humans are causing to the ecosystems in place.
Place Lévis, 52 rue Lévis, 75017 Paris
Paris Cinéma en plein air
On the occasion of Nuit Blanche 2015, a program of short films by artists addressing the world of
the climate and the environment will be presented all night long in an open-air cinema set up on Place Lévis. On this occasion, we will observe a whole forest catching fire, uneasiness guaranteed!
Parc Clichy-Batignolles, 147 rue Cardinet, 75017 Paris
Friedrich van Schoor & Tarek Mawad, Spider Projection
In a building of the Martin Luther King park, strange spiders terrorize the passers-by. As if trapped, they try to escape from the place, running towards the windows!
Parc Clichy-Batignolles, 147 rue Cardinet, 75017 Paris
Daan Roosegaarde, WATERLICHT
For this Nuit Blanche, and on the occasion of the COP 21, Daan Roosegaarde gives us a glimpse of a disturbing future. Thanks to an advanced technology, the artist reveals us the consequences of a possible rise of water, a huge blue wave which would cover the Park Clichy!
Petite Ceinture, access from Clichy park
Joris Strijbos & Daan Johan, PARSEC
On this white night, Joris Strijbos and Daan Johan disturb us with an installation that reminds us of the barbed wire at the borders. In the half-light of a forbidden urban site, sixteen arms equipped with leds and sound generators turn frantically around the same axis, plunged in the dark, we have to cross this dark space and discover a disturbing place!
Petite Ceinture, at the intersection of rue Belliard and Villa Belliard, 75018 Paris
Stéphane Ricordel, Cloud, 2015
Stéphane Ricordel realizes his greatest dream; before our eyes, he jumps from a cloud, located at 15 meters high. Was it impossible until now?
Petite Ceinture at the intersection of rue Belliard and Villa Belliard, 75018
Music And Nature, The orchestration of the Real
Anne-Laure Chamboissier invites us to rediscover nature in music, through a sensory journey in a tunnel of the Petite Ceinture. Musical anamorphoses of the natural universe, conversations with birds with the help of a flute, extraction of music from nature itself, the sound landscape deployed is just remarkable!
Petite Ceinture at the intersection of rue Belliard and Villa Belliard, 75018 Paris
Michel Blazy, abstract parietal paintings
In the heart of the Petite Ceinture, in the depths of a disused tunnel, Michel Blazy offers us another interpretation of the Chauvet cave, contemporary, where life seems to be reborn and with it the hope of another world.
Moreover, 9 OFF projects will be presented in the surroundings of the course. We will soon reveal a selection of the OFF projects of Nuit Blanche 2015!
