As we all know, Alain Ducasse has been striving for years to pass on not only knowledge but also know-how, respect and product traceability.
Following the opening of the École Nationale Supérieure de Pâtisserie in 1984 and the opening of a culinary studio in the 16th arrondissement of Paris in 2009, world-renowned French chef Alain Ducasse has just unveiled the new culinary school of the Ducasse Education group, recently taken over by Sommet Education, an international group specializing in hospitality professions.
Expected to open in September 2020, theÉcole Ducasse - Paris Campus in Meudon(92) will showcase the culinary and pastry arts through a range of programs, from two months to three years. From the Bachelor's program, a three-year post-baccalaureate course, to the eight-month Signature program in English, the different courses will be accessible to passionate amateurs, entrepreneurs and people undergoing professional retraining.

On the other hand, these programs come at a price. Depending on the program chosen, you'll need to pay between €1,000 and €32,000. In terms of capacity, this future school will be able to accommodate between 300 and 400 students.
Spread over a 5,000m² site, the campus will feature a number of spaces, including a central meeting point for students, a sensory analysis room and several workshop rooms. It is hoped that the philosophy of the Ducasse Education Group will remain the same as in its early days, and that this school will bring French cuisine to international prominence thanks to its teachers.

What's more? Two introductory restaurants open to the general public and a vegetable garden where vegetables and plants will be grown for locavore cuisine.
With this next opening, the world of cuisine and patisserie has even more surprises in store for our taste buds!
