The incredible Café de la Paix brunch

In the family of chic all-you-can-eat brunches, the Café de la Paix is making a comeback. Located on the square opposite the Opéra Garnier in the 9th arrondissement, the Café de la Pa ix is a legendary address whose dining room is listed as a Monument Historique.

The restaurant's Napoleon III and Belle Epoque decor, freshly renovated in 2021, is sure to please. With its refined ambience and attentive service, you'll be swept away by the warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere. Between the ceiling frescoes, moldings and chandeliers, you won't know where to look. And with the new glass roof, the place is now brighter and more enchanting.

We're not going to lie, this exceptional brunch isn't cheap, but it's well worth it. At €98 per adult (including rosé champagne) and half price for children over 4, it's on the high end of the price range, but what a choice! To delight our taste buds, chef Laurent André and his team have thought of a wide choice of quality dishes.

After a lovely amuse bouche accompanied by a natural shot served at the table, we start with viennoiseries and good breads accompanied by hot drinks and freshly squeezed juices if you wish.

As for the appetizer buffet, it's hard to know where to look. Between the charcuterie, salads and cheeses, the seafood and shellfish, where delicious oysters await us, the Lebanese food corner and the sushi and maki bar, will you be able to make a choice?

In the middle, hot dishes await you, with croques, beignets and other sandwiches on the side. We love the eggs, prepared in a variety of ways on request, and the different fresh pastas to match with the sauces of our choice, prepared right in front of us. For our part, we're seduced by the seasonal poached eggs and then by the gnocchi with cheese and cream sauce.

Sweet tooths are in for a treat with the gargantuan dessert buffet in front of us. Fountains of chocolate accompanied by fruit and various sweets, pastries galore and verines of all kinds - once again, the hardest part is choosing (or not).

In short, this divine brunch is exceptional and a delight from start to finish. It awaits you every Sunday from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. Children's workshopsby Macha Brodsky are also on offer. Have a great Sunday in Paris!
