When it comes to unusual restaurants and original brunches, Kimochi is the place to go. We've already told you about this famous Japanese restaurant, which offers delicious sushi burgers à la carte. To appeal to those who are always on the lookout for something new, the restaurant has decided to launch its Japanese brunch.
And the good news is that this brunchis available all week, from Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Japanese restaurant that combines Japanese dishes with American gourmet delights—now that's something to get excited about. For €28, you can choose a savory dish, a sweet dish, a hot drink, and a cold drink, including delicious homemade juices and cocktails.
The menu:
We were tempted by the generous and freshSoma Salad, made with avocado, arugula, lamb's lettuce, cucumber, carrots, purple cabbage, mango, pomegranate, radishes, tomatoes, crispy seaweed, seasonal microgreens, marinated salmon, and sesame vinaigrette. My companion opted for the generous Waffle Hot Katsu, consisting of a soft waffle topped with avocado, seasonal sprouts, a fried egg, and crispy chicken (or shrimp tempura). A combination sure to please fans of sweet and savory flavors.
For something sweet, we opt for the Bananaffle, which is sure to appeal to fans of banana, chocolate, and whipped cream. We add vegetable charcoal to ease our conscience. My companion opts for the crème brûlée cheesecake with red fruit coulis.
We love the location, which features a hidden terrace tucked away in one of the side streets off the Passage des Panoramas. We also appreciate the homemade cocktails and mocktails made with spirulina and vegetable charcoal, among other ingredients. We recommend the Muzan, which combines Sencha tea, ginger, honey, lemon, and vegetable charcoal.
So, how about a Japanese brunch for a change?
