Following a major renovation, the emblematic Lenôtre boutique at 48 avenue Victor Hugo has reopened its doors, offering a new gourmet offering to be enjoyed on site.
Maison Lenôtre, a veritable institution of French gastronomy, unveils a reinvented boutique and dining space where it's good to relax, in the quiet 16th arrondissement of Paris. In a chic, warm and uncluttered setting, you can relax and (re)discover the house's specialties.
The carefully laid-out space offers a wide variety of sweet treats: emblematic pastries, refined confections, divine chocolates and tasty viennoiseries, whose reputation is well established. Among the must-tries are the famous Feuille d'Automne and exclusives such as the Victor Hugo and Le Rayonnant viennoiserie, available only in this boutique.
Savoury connoisseurs will not be left out, with a selection of seasonal dishes to savour on the premises or to take away. Lenôtre is committed to responsible cooking, using seasonal, quality produce.
The big news is the brunch and tea time formulas. Brunch, served every weekend from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for €49, includes homemade granola with fromage blanc and fresh fruit, accompanied by a hot drink and freshly squeezed ORGANIC orange juice. The menu also includes a choice of viennoiserie, including the famous Rayonnant (a flaky brioche with a caramel and hazelnut praline center), a hot dish with eggs Benedict or a pâté en croûte. Finish with a pastry from the house's extensive selection, including the famous Victor Hugo with pecan and vanilla. For those wishing to add a festive touch, a glass of champagne is available at an additional cost of €12.
Tea time is available at 42€. It's the perfect opportunity for a pleasant afternoon snack. An assortment of sweet and savory bites, accompanied by a hot drink, are offered, with creations such as vanilla éclair, seasonal Schuss, and Bun's with goat's cream & marinated artichokes.
In short, if you're in the 16th arrondissement looking for a chic, refined spot to sit back and enjoy some fine pastries or viennoiseries, why not pay a visit to Lenôtre.
