Hotel La Belle Juliette and its garden rooms

Located in the heart of Paris's 6th arrondissement,Hôtel et Spa La Belle Juliette pays tribute to Juliette Récamier, the 19th-century French woman of letters and socialite. On the garden side, the hotel boasts charming contemporary rooms, created when the hotel was enlarged a few years ago. These rooms, a nod to theAbbaye aux Bois where Juliette stayed for over 10 years, highlight Juliette Récamier's avant-garde side.

Decorator Anne Gelbard has divided her universe into 4 themes. Sober materials, raw wood and vivid colors blend with designer furniture and vintage pieces sourced from Europe's major cities, in the spirit of an artist's studio. On the second floor, Juliette's apartments are feminine, with powdered colors and touches of mustard yellow. On the second floor, the decorator alludes to the patron's exile in Rome in 1813, with rough-hewn wood and 'acid-etched' concrete panels that evoke Vesuvius.

The third floor features Chateaubriand, Juliette Récamier's great love, in a more masculine style. Finally, the fourth and fifth floors feature duplex rooms in a cocooning spirit. Overlooking the garden and terrace, the garden rooms at Hôtel Belle Juliette invite you to relax.
