The Hotel La Fantaisie, located in the lively Faubourg Montmartre district, is the first Parisian establishment by renowned Swedish designer Martin Brudnizki. The hotel's fantastic architecture revolves around a spectacular courtyard-garden that pays homage to the establishment's location: rue Cadet, named after the brothers and master gardeners Jacques and Jean Cadet. For the record, they supplied the court with fruit and vegetables in the 16th century.
The chromatic palette, combining soft greens, sunny yellows and touches of coral, underlines this natural theme, creating a serenity conducive to rejuvenation. Decorative elements inspired by nature, such as cane-upholstered backrests and glass sconces evoking petals and foliage, are a delight.
With its superb interior garden, this hotel is all about nature and plants. It's the ideal setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. The hotel's 63 rooms and 10 suites (some with balconies and/or terraces) - as well as the Holidaymie spa - provide the perfect break from the urban, mineral world.
The Holidaymie spa offers a sanctuary of well-being where tranquility reigns. From the mosaic depicting a flourishing field to the soft green upholstered furniture, every detail aspires to relaxation.
Our Café and Restaurant de la fantaisie on the first floor, which also hides a lovely green terrace. The cuisine is a blend of French dishes and international influences.
But the good news doesn't stop there, as a rooftop bar awaits lovers of beautiful views over Paris. Here you can discover cocktails and mocktails that should delight lovers of originality.
Here's the Mai Tai, born in California in 1944, a cocktail emblematic of Tiki culture made with rum, curacao, orgeat and lime juice. The menu also recalls San Francisco as the origin of the popularization of agave (and margaritas) worldwide, from Julio Bermejo to Tommy's, as well as the disputed birthplace of the Martini. It echoes legendary trends and bars, such as Twin Peaks Tavern in San Francisco's Castro district, a pioneer in openly promoting gay culture in 1972.
On the rooftop, you'll also find appetizers such as oysters, onion pancakes and carrots with Vadouvan spices.
La Fantaisie is more than a hotel; it's an immersive experience, a meeting place for history, nature and gastronomy. Gourmets, wellness enthusiasts and lovers of elegant design will find it a haven of peace and discovery.
