Are you always on the lookout for something new in Paris? In the family of new rooftops this summer in Paname, I call La Tour d'Argent! For the first time this summer, the historic venue unveils its terrace, which required no less than 15 months of extensive work.
Le Toit de la Tour is the sweet name of this open-air rooftop that should blow your mind. Although ideally located to offer a breathtaking view of Paris, this rooftop terrace was previously inaccessible, at least in complete safety. It's a daring achievement, we're told, which has been carried out to offer us a beautiful experience.
This terrace, nestled in the center of the capital, now offers a breathtaking panorama, extending the Tour d'Argent experience to the emblematic Parisian rooftops. Imagine a garden filled with plants and flowers, embellished with an aromatic garden and adorned with zinc that blends harmoniously with the anthracite shades of Haussmann-style Paris, and you're there.
A deep-gray Vals natural stone floor creates the illusion of a mineral parquet, complemented by outdoor furniture and cozy blue cushions. Le Toit offers seating for 30 or so, for a magical escape against the backdrop of Notre-Dame, the Tower's faithful companion for over four centuries.
This terrace offers exceptional champagnes from Maison Roederer, including the famous Cuvée Cristal by the glass, bottles aged in the House's cellars selected from the legendary wine bible, and exclusive cocktails created by the Tower's mixologists, all accompanied by the delicious creations of Chef Yannick Franques.
The menu features crunchy vegetables with a Bagna Cauda sauce, as well as vegetable spreads such as lime hummus, garlic confit tzatziki and basil tapenade. You can also enjoy fresh churned goat's cheese marinated in olive oil and rosemary, accompanied by candied red peppers. The selection also includes mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, Lucques olives and purple basil. Enjoy our beef cecina, aged for 14 months, served with fennel in olive oil. For a more luxurious experience, opt for our Osciètre de Sologne Tour d'Argent caviar (50g) served with blinis and heavy cream. Finally, we end on a sweet note with a strawberry salad accompanied by mascarpone chantilly with mint oil.
A beacon in the Latin Quarter, Le Toit de la Tour is sure to enchant your sunsets.
Please note that the rooftop terrace is open by reservation only (01 40 46 71 39 or contact@tourdargent.com) Monday to Friday 6pm to 12:30am and weekends 12am to 12:30am.
