When night falls, the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district is decked out in its most beautiful lights, and you can dive right in to discover a slightly secret establishment that doesn't reveal itself from the outside, as if you had to know it to suspect the little marvel it contains...
Once through the door of Le Flirt, we were warmly greeted by Elvis, "host d'accueil" and former physiognomist of the Bus Palladium, before discovering a chic but not elitist universe in a delicately subdued atmosphere, where we could enjoy cocktails, a little music and an elegant finger food offering, from 6.30pm.
Both a cocktail bar and a party club on certain evenings, Flirt vibrates to the rhythm of its daily guests, through three distinctly decorated spaces. As the evening progresses, you can choose to sit directly at the bar to watch the cocktails being created, choose a quiet corner in a lounge-like room with printed motifs and daring lighting... or dive into the bowels of the house, in the heart of the speakeasy-like vaulted cellar, with its second bar, used for DJ evenings from Thursday to Saturday, from 11pm to 4am!
While the bar may seem small at first glance on the first floor, its dancefloor-style basement makes it much bigger, allowing many customers in search of a bit of a party to indulge themselves, whether with friends or on a date- because what better way to start a romance than at Flirt? In this new, intimate den in the 6th arrondissement, where you'll feel safe and secure, you'll be able to indulge in confidences in a welcoming, refined atmosphere.
When it comes to drinks, you can of course choose from a selection of wines, champagnes and spirits, but we'd advise you to discover the beautifully presented house cocktails, both signatures and classics, priced at around 15 euros.
Our choice fell on three colorful, plant-based elixirs: Figuy Spring, a vodka-based elixir with a perfect marriage of light bitterness and the sweet gourmandise of figs; Pornstar, much spicier and nicely tangy thanks to passion fruit and maracujà, with a softer vanilla note; and Daïquirose, delicate and fragrant, without the overpowering taste of flowers.
To accompany these delicious beverages, we opted for foie gras toast, which was served generously, discreetly peppered and particularly mild; a spicy, lemony avocado toast with a delicious guacamole; and a soft brioche bun, copiously topped with lobster.
These are side dishes in good quantity, rarely found on a bar menu, but they are inevitably a little more expensive than simple nachos, ranging from 14 to 26 euros. What's more, the kitchen stays open all night long, a not inconsiderable point that saves you a lot of trouble if you get the munchies on the dancefloor!
Whether you're here to flirt, sway to the dance floor or simply enjoy a great cocktail, this is one spot you're sure to love!
