It's news that should send shivers down the spines of many, especially baby rockers who used to enjoy rock concerts there in the past. Located in Pigalle, in the capital's 9th arrondissement, the Bus Palladium closed its doors for good in mid-March 2022, much to the dismay of rock music fans.
More than 3 years later, in September 2025, the legendary concert hall in the 9th arrondissement of Paris will reopen its doors... with a completely different face and a completely different function. The Bus Palladium is, in fact, set to become a 5-star boutique hotel. Conceived as a "place to live and party around music", this Bus Palladium 2.0 should retain its "raw and radical" atmosphere, thanks to Studio KO.
The boutique hotel is to feature 35 rooms and suites, including an 80m2 'Magic Rock' that can accommodate artists performing on stage. Indeed, the adjoining 400-seat concert hall is set to rise from the ashes and host weekly events. Studio KO's decor features bare ceilings and cork walls, in a "hedonistic 60s spirit".
