The MOB House, a design hotel with outdoor pool, in Saint-Ouen

For over a year now, the MOB House has been one of the trendiest new addresses at the Puces de Saint-Ouen: located next to the Serpette market, the place is a cocoon, ideal for endless summer evenings in fine weather or cosy lunches in winter. With no fewer than 100 Philippe Starck-designed rooms, the hotel is perfect for a stay in the capital.

The names behind the project are already well known in the hotel and design world: Cyril Aouizerate, co-founder of Mama Shelter hotels, Michel Reybier, also co-founder of Mama Shelter, and Philippe Starck, one of France's best-known designers.

Between them, the three imagined the hotel's rooms, designed to fulfill three functions: bedroom, office and meeting room. A place particularly well-suited to teleworkers and digital nomads, especially as the hotel's restaurant features a beautiful coworking space, free and open all day long.

When the weather's fine, the hotel's outdoor swimming pool is the place to go for laps, and the patio terrace is the place to sip cocktails and watch the sun go down... During your stay, each room is equipped with a large double bed, coffee/tea making facilities (kettle, coffee machine, water...), high-speed wifi and plenty of sockets for recharging your electronic devices.

You can opt for the bucolic view from some rooms, with a view of the Sacré Coeur, for the business rooms with lounge and meeting table for several people, or for the largest room in the MOB House, a 152 m² apartment with a huge terrace and 180° view of the whole of Paris. Rates start from €97 for two adults in the cheapest room, and from €132 with breakfast included.

The on-site gym is also open all day, so you can work out in the fully-equipped gym and swimming pool from March 25 to November 6. On the food and beverage front, the MOB House boasts a fine address, Feuille de Chou, which takes traditional French brasserie dishes and revisits them according to the season, the chef's whims and what's available.
