Halfway between theOpéra Garnier and the Bourse,Hôtel Hana is the latest addition to the Adresses Hotels collection. With its poetic little name - meaning"flower" in Japanese - the5-star hotel aims to be a link betweenParisian energy and theJapanese art of living.
To achieve this, the 25-room and 2-suite boutique-hotel has opted for a decor designed by Olivier Leone - a renowned artistic director in the fashion world who is embarking on his very first hotel venture here - and the inimitable interior designer and architect Laura Gonzalez, who has been the talk of the town in recent years.
Together, they imagined a chic, convivial décor, at once graceful, voluble and precious, as much cocoon as boudoir. To achieve this, they contrasted two diametrically opposed aesthetic trends: early 20th-century maximalism and Japanese minimalism. The result is a shimmering mix of materials, fabrics and colors, and rooms steeped in feng shui.
