Sequoia, the rooftop terrace of the Kimpton St Honoré Paris in barbecue mode

Sequoia is the name of the rooftop bar at the Kimpton St Honoré Paris, designed by the famous architect Charles Zana and offering a 360° view over the rooftops of Paris and its emblematic monuments, from the Opera to the Eiffel Tower. To discover it, head for the 10th floor of this beautiful hotel on Boulevard des Capucines. This is where you'll find a sublime 300m2 seasonal terrace with seating for 80, in a setting that pays homage to the Parisian art of living. This is where Parisians of all ages come to enjoy an impressive panorama of the Haussmann landscape while sipping chilled cocktails.

On the menu, a selection of wines, champagnes and summer mixology creations. Perfect for summer refreshment! Please note, however, that a minimum consumption of €50 per person is required here.

For the summer season, every Friday evening from 7pm to 10pm, the BBQ makes its debut on the perched terrace. Feel like indulging in some Californian generosity? Imagine corn on the cob with sriracha sauce, chicken wings with smoked paprika and green chimichurri sauce. Grill lovers will be delighted with skewers with chicken, chipotle pepper, corn and pimiento de Padrón. Vegetarians aren't forgotten either, with a gourmet option featuring sun-kissed vegetables, zucchini, bell bell pepper, tomato, olive and vegan mayonnaise sauce.

If you've got room to spare, go for the mini woopie pie, with its generous cocoa cookie and fluffy marshmallow meringue.

For the record, this spot once belonged to La Samaritaine. It housed the luxury boutiques. Today, this architectural gem, listed as a historical monument, is a hotel with a restaurant-bar on the first floor(Montecito) and this Sequoia rooftop, which should please lovers of beautiful views.

The terrace is open every day, weather permitting, for food and drinks from 5pm to midnight, and a barbecue evening on Fridays from 7pm to 10pm with a live chef.
