Looking for a relaxing terrace on the banks of the Seine? Head for the Maison Jaune barge in Boulogne-Billancourt. As it's outside the grey zone of the Games Pass, you'll have no trouble getting there for the wholesummer of 2024.

We discover a beautiful garden terrace, designed by Janice Gusils. Plants, water and a view of the Eiffel Tower set the scene. The furniture, identical to that of Saint-Tropez's famous Sénéquier, adds a summery touch. With its 400 m², this spacious terrace can accommodate up to 170 people, perfect for relaxing and partying.

On the menu: cocktails and gourmet platters

The cocktail menu, devised by mixologist Alexis Lebrun and head bartender Axel Voyer, offers refreshingly original creations. Signature cocktails include a Spicy Margarita revisited with curry syrup and the Sakura, a fresh cocktail with sake and grapefruit juice. In-house syrups and tobacco liqueur for a unique Old Fashioned are must-haves. An eclectic selection of quality wines accompanies these drinks, with responsible winemakers such as Hervé Rafflin and Fabien Jouves.

To accompany these drinks, cheese and charcuterie boards are available. You can also choose to share a few plates in the restaurant before heading upstairs to enjoy the terrace until the end of the night.

A festive terrace in guinguette mode

Every evening, Jardin de Maison Jaune offers a varied musical program, from Old School Disco Funk to Chanson Française with live performances, House/Disco House evenings and Yellow evenings with the cream of the Paris DJ scene.

The Jardin de Maison Jaune terrace is open Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm to 2am. It's one of the few places on the banks of the Seine to stay open all summer, offering a change of scenery and a warm atmosphere. The address is 52 Quai du Point du Jour, Boulogne, Hauts-de-Seine. You can get there by metro, taking line 9 to Porte de Saint-Cloud or Marcel Sembat, or by RER C or streetcar T2 to Issy-Val de Seine. By car, a convenient stacked parking lot opposite the boat is available on the lower quay, at the corner of Quai du Point du Jour and rue Emile Duclaux.
