Do you fancy relaxing and sunbathing from the 1ᵉʳ floor of the Eiffel Tower? All summer long, you can climb 57 meters high to enjoy a perched terrace that puts sports in the spotlight, of course, as the Paris 2024 Olympics oblige. We reveal the spot and what awaits you.

This summer, Parisians and tourists visiting the capital have plenty to do to relax and bask in the sun. Between bargeterraces, trendy terraces and chic terraces, there's something for everyone. But terraces high above the ground also have their fair share of fans... and the one on the Eiffel Tower is sure to be a hit.

A lively relaxation area

To be discovered this summer, on the 1st floor of the Iron Lady, this ephemeral summer terrace offers a beautiful space for convivial relaxation. Perched at a height of 57m, the terrace features a convivial bar with cream and gold furniture, and is a haven of green peace. Here, you can enjoy artisanal French ice creams, French popcorn and assorted dried fruits from a local artisan, while enjoying a panoramic view of the capital. A giant screen, installed on the Champ-de-Mars side, broadcasts content relating to the Eiffel Tower's historic sporting exploits.

A sports and educational trail for families

To encourage families to take part in sporting activities, the Eiffel Tower is offering a fun and educational trail featuring fifteen challenges and quizzes entitled "Le sais-tu?" ("Do you know?"). Participants are invited to do warm-up exercises, make the statue, or mimic the dancing Tower. An educational booklet, distributed to young visitors, retraces 135 years of sporting exploits at the Eiffel Tower through games and illustrations.
