We take to the skies to sample some surprising, full-bodied cocktails at Bramble, a bar perched on the roof of the Musée du Quai Branly, opposite the Eiffel Tower, the fruit of a collaboration between mixologist Margot Lecarpentier and Alain Ducasse.

If you're looking for sweet, fruity cocktails to intoxicate your summer, Bramble' s isn 't the place for you! But if you're looking for original mixes concocted by renowned mixologist Margot Lecarpentier, with an exceptional view of France's most famous monument, this perched bar is sure to please! In collaboration with chef Alain Ducasse, the menu features original liquid combinations, with more acidity, bitterness and astringency.

The ideal spot to try unusual cocktails, on the roof of the Musée du Quai Branly, on the same floor as the restaurant"Les Ombres", whose chef Alexandre Sempere has developed a small range of tapas and snacks to accompany the mixtures with consistency. A discovery of flavors, with one of the capital's finest views, of the Eiffel Tower, straight ahead, on an all-outdoor terrace, made for sunny days, from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Bramble is both a reference to an essential English cocktail of the 1980s-90s with a blackberry taste, and a reminder of the root of the word Branly, hence the inspiration for recipes from all five continents. But here, we like to get off the beaten track and away from the atmosphere of trendy cocktail bars, for a festive, old-fashioned feel. We're all for it, and it's a real kick in the pants.

Our cocktails cost between 20 and 22 euros and are available in non-alcoholic versions, including the famous Bramora, a dusted-off classic with a slightly sweet blackberry cream, quickly overshadowed by the bitterness and acidity of the mezcal, lime and geranium vinegar combo. As for the Chupicuaro Daïquiri, which honors the South American culture so appreciated at the museum a few floors below, we travel in herbaceous tones, with a little cachaça, Cuban rum, green chartreuse, a shrub of fresh herbs, enhanced by a chili oil that awakens the taste buds.

Alongside our colorful beverages, a few tapas that smell of the south, with crispy seaweed panisses, delicious though very peppery, which goes perfectly with the cocktails, and some breaded eggplant, soaked in eucalyptus honey and Iranian black lemon, small portions of flavors that come together wonderfully, for a start to the evening that we're unlikely to forget!
