This year, Ramadan in France begins on March 1, 2025. This holy month of the Muslim religion encourages observers to fast from dawn until dusk. This is one of the five pillars of Islam. The end of Ramadan is marked by the feast of Eid-el-Fitr. But when will this take place?

First of all, Ramadan dates are set according to the Hegira calendar, also known as the Islamic or Muslim calendar .
