Online ticketing for the Eiffel Tower is officially open for the period of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, from July 18 to August 11, 2024. Due to the expected crowds, advance reservations will be essential to access this iconic monument and even mandatory from July 18 to 25.

Reservations from July 18 to 25: Increased security perimeter

In the week leading up to the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, the Eiffel Tower is in a special protection zone set up by the Préfecture de Police. Proof of reservation is required for entry. You don't need to apply for a Pass Jeux; only proof of reservation is required. You have two options:

  • Buy an e-ticket to access the floors.
  • Book a free "ticket parvis", allowing access to the ticket offices for a same-day visit.

Reservations must be made on the official website. During this period, the Tower will be open as usual, from 9am to 00.45am (last entry at midnight).

During the Olympic Games: access maintained with a few exceptions

During the Games, the Eiffel Tower will be open to visitors every day except July 14 and 26, due to the festivities and opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. Sports competitions at the foot of the Tower will have no impact on visits. Opening times remain unchanged: 9am to 12:45am (last entry at midnight). Tickets for the Paralympic Games, from August 28 to September 8, will be available shortly on the website.
