The Olympic Games aren't exactly your cup of tea, but what if this was the time to take advantage of the usually crowded activities and events? In fact, this year, cultural sites are accessible and free of the usual crowds, so we're taking advantage of the opportunity to get out and about.

You may not know it, but the Olympic Games have scared off many of the tourists who usually visit Paris in the summer. In fact, they prefer to postpone their trips. If you thought the museums and monuments would be packed, that's not the case.

All this to say that this could be the perfect time to treat yourself to a museum, visit a château or discover the treasures that Ile-de-France has to offer. This morning, for example, we tried out the Eiffel Tower tour. It took us just 3 minutes to get in after reserving a free ticket online, with no Games Pass required, to access the site. Having a drink on the 1st floor terrace, while admiring the two Olympic sites on either side, has never been so easy.

You don't have the chance to get away from Paris this time of year, but still want to make the most of it? Whether you're a Parisian or a tourist just passing through, we've come up with some great ideas for outings that are both accessible and ideal during this Olympic period.
