Paris 2024 Olympics: India's Olympic House, to experience the colorful Olympics at La Villette

Every four years, the Summer Olympic Games take place in a new city around the world: Atlanta, London, Seoul, Rio de Janeiro, Berlin, Tokyo, Mexico City, Sydney... By hosting this sporting event, each city and country takes the opportunity to showcase its history, culture and treasures. But this major international event can also serve as a showcase for all the participating nations.

Indeed, the countries taking part in the Olympic Games also use this global competition to showcase their customs and traditions. Numerous ephemeral cultural sites open their doors to the inhabitants of Olympic cities for the duration of the Games. These institutions become festive places, where sport, art, gastronomy, music and celebrations await the curious.

During the Paris 2024 Games, India is therefore inviting us to discover its treasures and culture, by opening its Olympic House of India, in the Parc de la Villette, from July 27 to August 11, 2024.

This open house is the result of a partnership between the Indian non-profit organization Reliance Foundation and the Indian Olympic Association.
