The Bourse and Bibliothèque de France districts - on the Richelieu site - are home to a new boutique hotel, and it's to these two Parisian institutions that the establishment pays tribute. Named Filigrane, the 4-star hotel borrows the aesthetics of banknotes - numerical for the Bourse, literary for the BNF - and unveils 43 rooms and suites.
To create this elegant, contemporary decor, the hotel called on art director Sonia Lemagnen and decorator Anne-Claire Majorel, who have created a hushed setting of weathered woodwork, mosaics and monochromes in blue, green, red, bistre and black & white.
In the lobby, the fireplace is the hotel's meeting place. Relaxation continues in the hotel's wellness area, which features a hammam, sauna, relaxation bath and relaxation bed, to be enjoyed solo or as a duo. Some suites have a balcony with a view of Paris.
On the food front, breakfast is served buffet-style, and drinks can be enjoyed at thehonesty bar. A new, discreet hotel in a central corner of the capital, ideal for a stay for two.
