Just because it's old doesn't mean it's old-fashioned... On the contrary: we love the idea of reusing an office building with a checkerboard façade to create a chic, slightly shocking hotel! It all begins at 52, rue Galilée in the 8th arrondissement, a very quiet street despite its immediate proximity to the Avenue des Champs Élysées.
A strange building, a small entrance, impossible to guess the graphic explosion that awaits us inside the Ekta hotel: and yet, you only have to pass through the door to enter another universe.
The staircase leading to the lobby is curved and adorned with mirrors that diffract vision: it's like being in a movie! Photographs by Benjamin Deroche set the sixties tone dear to the architects' mission, showing women in little round-neck dresses coming to life against psychedelic backdrops.
The color code is immediately clear: sparkling yellow, white and black. The remarkably comfortable lobby and lounge are designed to be warm and cosy. You could spend hours here, working, entertaining a guest, leafing through one of the books in the library...
In the bedrooms, the same story is told: great comfort and pop imagery with stripes and bright colors. You'll quickly feel at home: the vintage lines of the hotel's identity only reinforce the rooms' soft, familiar feel. The luckiest guests will enjoy a terrace. All in all, a small hotel with 25 rooms, including 6 suites, with a seductive pop charm.
