L'Appartement Saint Martin, the trendy restaurant-bar in the 10th arrondissement

Head between République and the Grands Boulevards to discover L'Appartement Saint-Martin, a trendy, lively neighborhood eatery where you can relax and enjoy home-cooked food and cocktails.

Inside, we discover a pretty bar facing us, with a beautiful fresco on the ceiling and a cosy decor to make you feel good.

It's a short menu that we discover. The chef, of Vietnamese origin, offers us a trendy menu with an Asian touch. Sashimi and egg rolls sit alongside cromesquis and soft-boiled eggs.

To get a taste of everything, we decided to start with a Mix Tapas accompanied by two strawberry mojitos. The Mix Tapas is a sharing board that brings together a whole range of appetizers. Cromesquis of parma ham, marinated soy croquettes, egg rolls and crispy Saint-Maure de Touraine cheese are accompanied by French fries and sauces. A gourmet start.

Another appetizer is the Pan-Fried Octopus, served as a salad with Iberian chorizo, tomatoes, capers, arugula and fried chickpeas.

On the main course, in addition to a choice of burgers, we discover our crispy Toastés. You'll love the smoked scarmoza version, made with cheese of course, but also marinated peppers, Kalamanta olives and arugula.

For fish lovers with an Asian touch, Tuna Tataki with sautéed vegetables (Par choice cabbage, red bell pepper, carrot, spinach and sesame).

Finally, we finish with a little dessert. Here, we opt for the Rhubarb, blueberry and strawberry puff pastry and the Café gourmand, ideal when you don't know what to have.
