Are roller skating parties your thing? Then you'll love this concept! Once a month, the 6Skate Parties come to Paris to bring us rollerdance evenings with DJ sets that promise a great atmosphere. It's an opportunity for the most assiduous skaters to show off their best dance moves, and for beginners to get into the swing of things while enjoying the dance floor. In fact, beginners can take part in an introductory workshop prior to the event, whether or not they actually attend. It's the perfect way to build up your confidence before you hit the dancefloor!
It has to be said that roller dance evenings are often a big hit in the capital. These events bring together a certain nostalgia for the 80s vibe and impressive performances on the dance floor. At 6Skate Parties, it's of course possible to bring your own rollerblades or roller skates. However, if you don't have your own skates or rollerblades, please note that you'll need to rent them before the event.
The next editions will take place on Friday December 6, 2024, Saturday January 11, 2025, Saturday February 15, 2025 and Saturday April 5, 2025, from 8:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Salle Colonne in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. On the program, a playlist that promises "big Hip Hop, Funk, RnB, Afrobeat, Soulful House, etc". Skate rentals are booked in advance at the time of pre-sale purchase, subject to availability, and will be subject to a 2€ surcharge. A bar and checkroom are available on site, and on the food front, you'll find comforting indulgences such as hot dogs, potatoes, Wings and chicken burgers. A workshop for beginners is scheduled from 7.30 to 8.30 pm, with advance booking. Prerequisite: ability to stand on skates.
