The World of Banksy: the immersive exhibition in Paris becomes permanent

A Parisian success, the immersive exhibition"The World of Banksy", on view at the Banksy Museum, is now permanent! Join us every day in the 9th arrondissement of Paris to (re)discover this incredible installation dedicated to the world-famous street artist Banksy. On the program: 100 works unveiled over 1,200 m². A real treat for all street-art fans.

Since his early days, Banksy has fascinated and challenged visitors with his numerous works, which are as beautiful as they are committed, but also with his mysterious side. A world-renowned street artist, nobody knows who is behind this pseudonym, even if many are trying to get to the bottom of the secret.

Today, thousands of people are eager to catch a glimpse of the artist's many murals, scattered all over the world. From London to New York to Paris... Banksy is everywhere!

The experience starts at the lowest level, with some of Banksy 's works from private collections. These include the"Gangsta Rat", the "Consumer Jesus" and the"Toxic Mary", which cleverly hijacks religion.

Higher up, we find the essential"Kissing Coppers" illustrating the famous kiss between two British policemen, as well as"Turf War", in which Winston Churchill is transformed into a green-crested punk icon.

This is followed by impressive reproductions of Banksy murals, created here by a dozen graffiti artists from all over the world. They worked for a month, day and night, to recreate these incredible life-size frescoes in the various corners ofEspace Lafayette-Drouot!

We travel to New York with"Waiting in Vain" and"The street is in play", then to London with"No Ball Game" and"Slave Labour", not forgetting Paris with the little girl covering a swastika and the work on the door of the Bataclan following the tragic attacks of 2015.

We're particularly fond of the reproductions of several Banksy works in Bethlehem and the famous Walled Off Hotel, opened in 2017 just a few steps from the wall.

For perfect immersion, the installation also plays a few police sirens (New York space) or buzzing helicopters (in Bethlehem) in the background.
