Lockdown exit: end of gauges, reopening of nightclubs, what changes starting from today

Crowds to return to stadiums: no more gauges starting from June 30

Starting from May 19, open-air and indoor sports facilities could receive crowds again with a gauge limited to 800 people indoor, and 1,000 outdoor. Then, from June 9, the government allowed up to 5,000 people in sporting facilities subject to a health pass. Now, limits are lifted starting from this Wednesday June 30. Covid: curfew ends in France

This is now official, the end of curfew from 11 p.m. - initially expected to end on June 30 - is moved to Sunday June 20, 2021. Starting from this Sunday, French are allowed to get out by night without derogatory trip certificate. Outdoor facemask-wearing is no longer mandatory starting from Thursday June 17, 2021.

In compliance with the government's lockdown exit plan, curfew is to be moved twice in May and June, before being fully lifted at the beginning of summer. French are allowed to be out until late as curfew is moved to 11 p.m. since Wednesday June 9. But this Wednesday June 16, 2021 Prime Minister Jean Castex announced curfew ultimately comes to a close this Sunday June 20 everywhere in France, and the obligation of wearing a mask outside is no longer valid starting this Thursday June 17 given the good results of the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic.
