As France was overtaking the third wave of the coronavirus epidemic, the government announced details of their four-step lockdown exit scheme. Among the key dates, June 30, 2021 marking the last phase of the progressive easing of restrictions.
Yet, it could be delayed on a local basis depending on curbing leverages as planned by the government. Therefore, if the health situation allows to do so, June 30, 2021 marks a new step in the process to resume a normal life in France. Here is what changes from this day forth.
First off, June 30, 2021 ends the limit gauge in places open to the public. Events over 1,000 people can take place outdoor and indoor, but their accesses depend on a health pass. The gauge limitation adapts depending on the viral circulation within the country. As for nightclub, they have been granted green light to reopen from July 2021 under specific conditions. As for curfew, it has been lifted ten days early, since June 20, 2021.
As for sports, June 30 is a game-changer. This date simply marks the end of public gauge within stadiums and arenas. These venues are considered as places open to the public. Starting from Wednesday June 30, only amateur sport competitions in the open-air can be held with maximum 2,500 people in the audience.

Starting from May 19, open-air and indoor sports facilities could receive crowds again with a gauge limited to 800 people indoor, and 1,000 outdoor.
