Since Thursday November 14, 2024, a new shuttle bus has linked La Villette to Beauvais airport, making it easier for Parisians to access this air hub. With around ten daily round trips, this shuttle leaves from the Cité des Sciences forecourt and takes 1h30 to reach Beauvais.

Since November 14, a new direct aerobus service between Paris and Beauvais airport has simplified access to the terminal from the forecourt of the Cité des Sciences at La Villette.

Offering 10 round trips a day, this service is designed to compensate for the temporary closure of the Porte Maillot bus station, currently undergoing works. The journey takes around 1h30, subject to traffic conditions, and costs 16.90 euros for adults and 9.90 euros for children.

Launched to meet mobility needs in the north of the capital, this shuttle enables us to avoid the constraints associated with renovation work at the Porte Maillot bus station, a historic departure point to Beauvais. This new route from La Villette guarantees more direct access to the airport, offering a solution tailored to the needs of people living in the north of Paris and travelers coming from this area.

This is in addition to the other transport options put in place by the operator to compensate for the temporary closures of Porte Maillot. From La Défense, some twenty shuttles leave daily for the airport, also accessible only by online reservation.

However, routes between Saint-Denis Université and Beauvais, which account for 80% of traffic, remain open without prior reservation. Finally, for residents of Seine-et-Marne, a line is also available from Chessy-Marne-la-Vallée, with departures from the bus station.

These new lines are designed to diversify departure points for passengers and simplify access to Beauvais airport from several strategic areas in the Paris region. This reorganized transport offer underlines Paris City Council's intention to make Porte Maillot a "major transport hub" once the works are completed. Finally, the operator plans to maintain some of these routes once the Porte Maillot bus station has been reopened, thus offering a permanent solution for passengers.
