- Paris Marathon
It's an unmissable event for athletes and those who like to set themselves extravagant challenges. In 2024, runners were even able to push their limits a second time, thanks to the marathon for all, organized on the same course as the Olympic marathon.
- Reopening of the Géode
No, it's not an alien spaceship, but a cinema. That shiny ball just behind the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie is the Géode, an unusual cinema that reopened its doors in spring 2024, after six years of renovation.
- Metro and RER extensions
Public transport in the Paris region has crossed new frontiers. The RER E and Metro 14 lines have been extended, to better connect Paris to the surrounding towns. Parisians are also looking forward to the opening of the next metro lines.
